IVF (In Vitro Fertilization)

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a method of assisted reproduction in which a man's sperm is combined with a woman's egg in a laboratory dish.

Fertilization occurs in the dish and the resulting embryo is transferred to the uterus to develop naturally. IVF has been successfully done in the United States for over 20 years. Approximately 100,000 babies have been born (just in the United States) as a result of IVF. Children resulting from medical intervention. The process may seem a little artificial at times, but we can assure you that these babies will kick, spit-up, scream and keep you awake at nights just like any other baby.
