Dr. Suzanne Degelos received her Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University. She continued her education at LSU and received her Master’s Degree in Reproductive Physiology in 1990 from Louisiana State University. She received her Doctorate in Reproductive Physiology in 1995 from Virginia Tech.

Her research interests are mainly in the areas of testicular thermoregulation and the effect of heat on semen quality and the effect on embryo quality. She has been published in the Journal of Andrology and other professional publications.

She is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology, American Society of Bioanalyst and American Board of Bioanalysts and several other professional organizations. She serves as a High Complexity Laboratory Director of the Embryology, Andrology and Endocrinology Laboratories. She understands the impact of sperm quality on embryo development.
