Some women cannot conceive a child using their own oocytes (eggs). Egg Donation is an established and successful fertility treatment option for many patients who may struggle with premature ovarian failure, absent ovaries, previous surgical or medical treatment, genetic issues, diminished ovarian reserve, or poor response to fertility drugs. In addition, embryo quality diminishes with advancing age, making donor eggs the treatment of choice for many patients over the age of 40.

The egg donation program at The Center for Reproductive Medicine is committed to providing the best possible options for patients needing donor eggs. Our goal is to help recipient parents realize their dream of having a child through another woman’s incredible gift. Currently, we coordinate fresh and frozen donor cycles that involve both anonymous and directed (known) egg donors.

In addition to meeting all FDA compliance standards and American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) recommended guidelines, our egg donors are healthy women between the ages of 21 and 32, from various ethnic backgrounds that have undergone a rigorous screening process to ensure that they meet our strict criteria for physical and reproductive health, psychological stability, and genetic predisposition for future disease. The Center’s dedicated IVF team and Donor Egg Coordinator are committed to making this journey as smooth and stress-free as possible for both the egg donor and donor egg recipient.
