The Center's good results have produced one of the highest and most consistent overall success rates for all infertility treatments in the region. The Center's results for in-vitro-fertilization (IVF) also are one of the highest and most consistent success rates in the region. Patients under the age of 35 who completed egg retrieval at The Center delivered live births at these rates during six consecutive years: 55% in 2009 (44 births, 80 retrievals), 51.9% in 2008 (55 births/106 retrievals), 52.6% in 2007 (50 births/95 retrievals), 51.1% in 2006 (48 births/94 retrievals), 55.4% in 2005 (51 births/92 retrievals), and 60.4% in 2004 (61 births/101 retrievals). The Center has an average live birth rate of 54.4% over the last six consecutive years. Currently, as of 10/7/2011, The Center has completed 27 vitrified embryo thaws with a 94% survival rate and a 48% ongoing/delivered pregnancy rate. The Center also has a thawed oocyte survival rate of 91% with an fertilization and development to blast rate equivalent to that of fresh oocytes. The American Society of Reproductive Medicine is "Infertility's" self-governed body. The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology is where fertility centers must report their statistics. To view the latest SART reports showing our pregnancy rates, please click here. Both societies state that any advertisements of comparative pregnancy rates include the following: "As entry criteria are highly variable for each program, a center-by-center comparison of results is not valid." Here are the statistics for our practice since September 1996: The Center for Reproductive Medicine Delivery Rate By Procedure Performed Per Retrieval 9/9/96 - 3/31/11
*Results given by transfer. Several patients retrieved for preimplantation genetic diagnosis did not have any normal embryos to transfer. The Center for Reproductive Medicine Delivery and Implantation Rate Per Retrieval By Patient Age 9/9/96 - 3/31/11
